Outside Seminars

From time to time, organizations in the area host programs, seminars and events that cover topics of interest to NEST members, volunteers and St. James friends. We will add a short post in the Events section on the homepage and link to this page where the details will be covered. Check this page often for updates and to learn about events in the community. 

January 31, 2023 - Walking Through Grief Program, facilitated by Bill Eberle. The eight weekly Tuesday sessions are offered in two series, 1:00pm-3:00pm or in the evening at 6:45pm. February 17, 2023 - Dementia Caregiver Workshop, Hosted by St. Peter Lutheran Church, Southport.  Melanie Bunn, a Dementia Training Specialist for the Dementia Alliance of NC will communicate information and resources to help relieve stress and reduce caregiver burnout.
